Web Track

With Mainfreight web tracking, you can now keep in touch with the progress of your freight’s journey online, from pick-up to delivery. By entering your consignment number in the box at the top of the page, information on pick-up times, arrival times, depot transfers and delivery are displayed.

Freman
Freman is a PC based freight management system, which automates many of the daily freight management tasks. A Freman system installed at your site will:

  • Produce your consignment notes, labels, or other freight documentation. 
  • EDI transfer your freight data to the Mainfreight (Austrak) business system.
  • Produce statistical reports on freight dispatch for data analysis.
  • Provide accurate customer service reports on delivery performance.

EDI (Electronic Data Interface)
A customer may be able to use information from within their own system to supply consignment data to Mainfreight, electronically via the web. An EDI solution can eliminate the need for customers to raise any consignment notes at all. Our technology consultants can work with you to find an effective EDI solution.

Hand Held Driver Scanners
Information on the movement of a consignment is now as important as the movement of the consignment itself. To ensure timely information is made available to you, Mainfreight drivers use hand held scanners which capture consignment information on pick-up and delivery, then transmit that information directly from the truck cab back to the Mainfreight (Austrak) business system. This means that critical data is made available to our web based technology products and PC based Freman for you to view as close to real time as possible.

Mainchain
Mainchain brings together the power of all the computer systems within the Mainfreight Group. It is an information portal that interrogates all systems for information on international freight movements, logistics services and/or domestic freight to provide a complete view across the supply chain. This means Mainchain can provide, in a single view, real time tracking information on the movement of your goods across multiple countries and Mainfreight companies. An Australian customer can view the progress of an order placed with an international supplier in the United States through to warehousing of the product, and final delivery in Australia.

Historical reporting functionality is also included as well as the ability to set up tracking notification by email or SMS once orders and/or consignments attain predefined statuses.
